A film with the classification of a 15 means that no one under the age of 15 are permitted to see that particular film. The film must not include language or behaviour that could be deemed as discriminating. Drug use may be used but not to promote or encourage the usage of drugs. Strong threat and menace can be used unless sadistic or sexualised. Dangerous behaviour such as hanging, suicide and self-harming but not in a lot of detail that could be copied. Weapons should not be glamorised. Strong language can be frequently used but extreme terms may only be used if justified by the content in which it is said in. Aggressive or repeated use of the strongest language shouldn't be used. Nudity may be allowed in a sexual context but without strong detail. Sexual activity may be portrayed but not in detail.Violence may be strong but should not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury. The strongest gory images are not likely to be permitted.
Our thriller will be classified 15 because there will be some violence and dangerous behaviour.
